Three-piece alt-rock band Loose Content originally formed in the Byron Shire and have since built a growing presence in Melbourne’s vibrant music scene, pairing urgent, poetic lyrics with gritty, high-energy instrumentation. After standout appearances at festivals including Big sound and King Street Crawl, the band will debut their new EP Forth & Back live. Poppy Galactic Single Launch

Dean Stewart’s art is focused on collection, curation and repurposing salvaged materials and discarded objects into mixed media works to reflect their original origin whilst simultaneously reforming them into modern configurations. In TRANS/FORM, Dean Stewart extends this practice of working with found objects and discarded materials, with a focus on metamorphosis. The works occupy a space between destruction and renewal, inviting reflection on how transformation is both unsettling and liberating. Media Puzzle New Racehorse Album Release with Friends

Rumble on the River

Lismore Skatepark is set to become the focus of Australia’s skateboarding scene this April, hosting Rumble on the River, an official Skate Australia Olympic pathway event and one of four national stops featuring both Street and Park disciplines. Over 150 competitors will contest U9, U12, U16 and Open divisions, with $20,000 in prizes shared equally across disciplines and genders.
