A FUNDRAISING event in Brunswick Heads will support women in the Northern Rivers who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

The SHIFT Project will host A Very SHIFTi Christmas at the Brunswick Picture House on Tuesday, December 9 from 7pm.

SHIFT is a local charity providing housing, education and employment pathways to help women regain stability and independence.

The organisation operates social enterprises including Linen SHIFT and the Ngali Design Initiative, which offer practical skills development and income opportunities.

Comedian Mandy Nolan will perform a one-off show at the event.

Guests will receive complimentary canapés and can purchase cocktails from the bar.

Homewares and hand-printed linen cushions made through the Ngali Design Initiative will be available to buy on the night at special event prices, with all sales supporting SHIFT programs.

Tickets cost $40, with proceeds going towards ongoing services supporting women in the region.

Bookings can be made at shiftproject.org.au/whats-on/event/.
