A design-led accommodation business offering off-grid stays has expanded to Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers, adding two NSW locations to its growing portfolio.
DSTNTN, founded in 2024, now operates stays across Victoria and NSW, with locations in the Yarra Valley, Heathcote wine country, and Byron Bay.
The Byron Bay offering includes two properties: one set in the hinterland and another located close to town.
The hinterland stay features a mirror-clad home designed to sit quietly within its natural surroundings.

Founders Vana Dimu and Dee Gligorevic said the NSW locations were designed to balance immersion in nature with proximity to regional food, wine, and coastal attractions.
The pair launched DSTNTN with backgrounds in psychology, marketing, and experiential travel.
“Novelty and immersive experiences are scientifically proven to support psychological wellbeing and neuroplasticity — the brain’s natural ability to adapt, grow, and rewire through experience,” Dimu said.
“We design for those moments — awe, surprise, surrender — followed by the comfort of deep rest.”
DSTNTN’s stays are off-grid and designed to minimise impact while emphasising quiet, views, and connection to place.
In Victoria, the Yarra Valley stay is set among heritage gardens near vineyards, while the Heathcote property sits atop a ridge overlooking surrounding bushland.

Dimu said the project had grown from a shared interest in how nature, design and experiences infuence the brain and wellbeing.
“For us, these homes aren’t just a business — they’re a practice,” she said.
DSTNTN is now open across all locations, with some last-minute stays still available in December and January for the holiday period.
