NRCF community grants now open
THE Northern Rivers Community Foundation grants are now open for submission.
The 20-year strong funding program has a total pool of $300,000 up for grabs.
The grants play a crucial role in supporting not-for-profit community groups and organisations that strengthen and enhance our regional communities by addressing social disadvantage and environmental sustainability.
The 2024-25 Community Grants are available in two streams. The Local Impact Grant is a small grants program supporting grassroots organisations to strengthen and enhance the regional community for projects up to $15,000.
The Resilience and Regeneration grants of up to $25,000 per grant assist community recovery and preparation for natural disaster emergencies and support for resilience and regeneration.
Supporters of the annual fund include the Paul Ramsay Foundation, The James Frizelle Charitable Foundation, the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, The Dunnet Foundation, Global Giving and the Northern Rivers Community Foundation’s Women’s Giving Circle.
Successful recipients will be announced at a special 20 Years of Giving event on October 21.
Grant applications close on October 4. For more information and to apply, head to nrcf.org.au/grants/community-grants-program-2024/
