LEARNING about native frogs and creating a backyard that is an inviting place for them is the focus of the third workshop in the Garden Habitat Heroes project.<\/p>\n

Richmond Landcare has previously supported projects for bees as part of its broader goal to transform backyards into thriving habitats for native flora and fauna.<\/p>\n

This informative event, presented in collaboration with Flo Gardens, offers participants the chance to learn how to create habitats that support native frog species.<\/p>\n

Presenters from Flo Gardens will share their expertise on the specific needs of native frogs, the threats they face, and how gardeners can help these species flourish in their own backyards.<\/p>\n

A special twilight tour of the Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens will give attendees the opportunity to observe existing frog habitats for inspiration in home garden design.<\/p>\n

Richmond Landcare has scheduled the event for Thursday, September 19, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Education Centre, Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens.<\/p>\n

It costs $10 and is suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n
