Tweed Shire Mayor Chris Cherry said the guide brought the community together and encouraged residents to make the 2024 Festive Glow Guide even bigger.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It brought a real sense of Christmas magic to the Tweed,&#8221; Cr Cherry said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was wonderful to see so many families making Christmas memories while exploring their neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We encourage people to walk or jump on their bikes to see the displays in their local area, but this year, we also suggest people take a festive adventure to connect with other towns and villages across the Tweed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want to stress that we don&#8217;t want people rushing out and buying new \u2013 use what you have, borrow or share \u2013 it&#8217;s just about celebrating the festive spirit, and there&#8217;s so much of it in the Tweed,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Kingscliff resident Steve Bass said he had been decorating his front garden at Christmas since he could remember and has already registered his home on the Glow Guide.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The kids just love it when the street lights up.
