RAINBOW Roos is bringing inclusive soccer fun to the Northern Rivers this summer, offering free sessions for young people of all abilities as part of the NSW Government’s Holiday Break program.<\/p>\n
The not-for-profit organisation, founded by Brad Ambridge, aims to foster a love for soccer in a supportive environment while developing skills and confidence.<\/p>\n
“There are fun sessions for everybody. There is not much out there for people with autism, or ADHD, or a physical ability,” Ambridge said.<\/p>\n
“We just want everyone to come and give it a go without the pressure of having to pay for it. It’s a great program.”<\/p>\n
Sessions for beginners through to advanced players will be held in Lismore, Goonellabah, Ballina, Newrybar, Skennars Head, and Casino in late December and early January.<\/p>\n
The NSW Government’s Holiday Break program is delivering 500 free events across the state this summer, designed to engage, inspire, and connect young people in regional areas.<\/p>\n
Minister for Regional NSW Tara Moriarty said the initiative ensured every young person could try something new and create lasting memories without financial pressure.<\/p>\n
