THE Mullumbimby and District Neighbourhood Centre (MDNC) has launched its 2025 community conversations with the series Mullum Together.<\/p>\n

Exploring what matters to residents and how to achieve it collaboratively, the calendar of community discussions invites a diversity of voices which are not often heard to help shape the community’s future.<\/p>\n

Manager of the MDNC Julie Williams said the Centre hoped the project would create a chain reaction of possibilities.<\/p>\n

“We know that no single person or organisation can solve all our challenges,” Williams said.<\/p>\n

“We believe in the magic of Mullumbimby. Where there are challenges, we want to work on change together with the community because the most effective solutions and actions come from within the community itself.”<\/p>\n

“By opening these safe, informal spaces for dialogue, MDNC aims to amplify diverse community voices, build cohesive community connections by uncovering shared aspirations and spark innovative community solutions to local challenges.”<\/p>\n

The casual and welcoming chats have a variety of time slots on offer and include food and refreshments. Upcoming dates include February 5, 10, 20 and 24, and March 7, 12, 17, and 22. Sessions are limited to 10 people per conversation.<\/p>\n
