THE Farm and Three Blue Ducks Byron are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a special open day on Saturday, May 3.<\/p>\n

The little thing that grew from one simple question has evolved into a sector-leading sustainable farm-to-table partnerships.<\/p>\n

The Farm’s communications and strategic planning manager, Tiffany Horton, said the 10 years had flown by.<\/p>\n

“It started around a dinner table, with a simple idea: to reconnect people with real food, the land, and each other,” Horton said.<\/p>\n

“From the beginning, it was about community – creating a place where people could slow down, get involved, and feel part of something real.”<\/p>\n

Ten years on, the team still aims to answer that every day. Still a working farm, it’s also a living classroom.<\/p>\n

“At the heart of it all is balance – working with nature, not against it,” Horton said.<\/p>\n

“We follow regenerative practices that build soil health, support biodiversity, and give every part of the system a role – from the worms in the soil to the chickens in the paddock.<\/p>\n

“It’s also about slowing down, paying attention, and learning from the land. When you do that, abundance tends to follow.”<\/p>\n

Three Blue Ducks co-founder Darren Robertson said The Farm and the Ducks had grown hand in hand.<\/p>\n

” In the early stages, we had to adapt, experiment, and figure things out as we went.,” Robertson said.<\/p>\n

“Over time, as the land has matured and the farmers have fine-tuned their practices, we’ve done the same in the kitchen.<\/p>\n

“It’s been a true partnership, and that’s shaped the way the Ducks has evolved.<\/p>\n

“We’re always learning, always evolving. That’s what keeps it interesting.<\/p>\n

“What makes our setup unique is that it’s not just a concept\u2014it’s real, tangible,” he said.<\/p>\n

The Festival of The Farm open day will host various festive activities, including live music, horse rides, a planting project, farmyard games, market stalls, a mini flower-growing course, and the Into The Paddock: Meet the Animals & Learn the Land experience.<\/p>\n

In the leadup to the open day, film, food and conversation with Flicks at the Farm kicks off on Thursday, April 3.<\/p>\n

The twilight screenings will feature The Legacy of The Farm \u2013 a filmic view of The Farm’s journey over the past decade and Roots so Deep, a compelling dive into regenerative agriculture.<\/p>\n

“The Farm is not just a place,” Horton said.<\/p>\n

“It’s a way forward, a vision for a regenerative future, and a testament to what’s possible when passion and purpose come together.”<\/p>\n
