SEN\u2019s Andrew Voss holds serious fears that the Wests Tigers are on track to win their fourth consecutive NRL wooden spoon following a sixth-straight defeat.<\/p>\n
The Tigers were defeated by an underwhelming Manly outfit 28-10 in round 17.<\/p>\n
Benji Marshall\u2019s men now sit in 14th position on the NRL ladder and are only one win ahead of the last-placed Gold Coast Titans.<\/p>\n
Marshall labelled the performance as \u201cdisappointing\u201d in his post-match press conference but insisted that there had still been positive signs throughout the year.<\/p>\n
Marshall admitted that the Tigers were lacking experience in their spine positions and following injuries, suspensions and captain Jarome Luai on State of Origin duty, Voss is concerned that the Tigers are destined to sink further down the ladder.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt one stage, they were 5-4. They are now sitting at 5-10,\u201d Voss said on SEN 1170 Breakfast.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey have lost six in a row. They now have to play the Sydney Roosters this week.<\/p>\n
\u201cApi Koroisau failed his HIA so he\u2019s out mandatory for at least a week. Fullback Jahream Bula is out and Jarome Luai is off on State of Origin duty.<\/p>\n
\u201cHeath Mason has been suspended for a week for contact with a referee.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe spine positions for this week are an absolute lottery and you\u2019ve let Tallyn Da Silva go early.<\/p>\n
\u201cTwo hookers, two fullbacks and a five-eighth are all out.<\/p>\n
\u201cLatu Fainu, his first chance in the starting side failed the test. At this stage in his career, he\u2019s not an 80-minute player and not a seven.<\/p>\n
