{"id":110564,"date":"2025-10-03T04:00:55","date_gmt":"2025-10-02T18:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/lismoretimes\/?p=110564"},"modified":"2025-10-02T11:18:59","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T01:18:59","slug":"kase-ha-shotokan-karate-seminar-in-bangalow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/lismoretimes\/living\/kase-ha-shotokan-karate-seminar-in-bangalow\/","title":{"rendered":"Kase-Ha Shotokan Karate seminar in Bangalow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DEDICATED karateka and martial artists are invited to take part in the 18th Kase-Ha Shotokan Karate &amp; Self Defence Seminar on Saturday, October 11, at the Moller Pavilion, Bangalow Showgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar will be led by Arie Farkas Sensei, 8th Dan and International Chief Instructor of Kase-Ha Shotokan Karate Australia.<\/p>\n<p>He will be joined by Mark Smith Sensei, 6th Dan, who represented Australia at the JKA World Cup in 1978, and local instructor Jean Boussard Sensei, 5th Dan.<\/p>\n<p>Together, they will deliver a full day of training that combines traditional Shotokan Karate with the practical, realistic techniques of self-defence developed in the legacy of Taiji Kase Sensei.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is what appeals to me most in Kase Ha,&#8221; Sensei Farkas said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It combines karate and self-defence in a practical way that fits with real life experience. I believe in the way of Kase Ha.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The open seminar is suitable for all levels, from beginners to seasoned black belts.
