Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In <em>Bubblegum Bruises<\/em>, Katie Pink offers an abstract universe that is tender, tough, and unapologetically pink. Aiming to be a space where trauma softens and colour becomes a form of resistance, and play is survival. Pink\u2019s ceramic and mixed-media sculptures and paintings celebrate fragility and strength.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tending<\/em> by Grace Fayrer is a photographic series created using camera obscuras (pinhole photography) formed from the earth; shallow chambers dug into the woodland floor behind Grace\u2019s late grandparents\u2019 home in southeast England.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_118189\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-118189\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-118189\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/10\/picture_20251016_150_10138.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"415\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-118189\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Katie Pink, same same, 2025. Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Made after their passing, photosensitive paper placed inside the chambers recorded a day\u2019s light from sunrise to sunset resulting in soft, ghostly impressions of the tree canopy as quiet monuments to memory, place, time, and grief.<\/p>\n<p>Artist duo, Home School Achiever, presents <em>Food and Drink (entities in deference to their being)<\/em>, an experimental exploration of the ambiguity of meaning. Betty Russ and Michael Donnelly are informed and inspired by contemporary ideas of speculative horror and science fiction, institutional theory and immersion techniques and have created a site-specific field of ontological activity.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_118190\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-118190\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-118190\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2025\/10\/picture_20251016_150_10184.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"362\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-118190\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Grace Fayrer, Tending II (negative), 2025.
