{"id":114161,"date":"2026-03-23T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-22T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/lismoretimes\/?p=114161"},"modified":"2026-03-18T23:37:47","modified_gmt":"2026-03-18T12:37:47","slug":"new-precinct-strengthens-lennox-heads-growing-commercial-hub","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/lismoretimes\/news\/new-precinct-strengthens-lennox-heads-growing-commercial-hub\/","title":{"rendered":"New precinct strengthens Lennox Head&#8217;s growing commercial hub"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A NEW retail precinct has opened at Lennox Head as part of the $250 million Epiq Marketplace development, adding eight new business tenancies to the expanding commercial hub.<\/p>\n<p>Property developer and funds manager Clarence Property marked the completion of the latest stage earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>The building, constructed by local contractor Bennett Constructions, comprises eight tenancies across a combined floor space of about 720 square metres.<\/p>\n<p>Clarence Property CEO Simon Kennedy said the expansion would build on the centre&#8217;s role within the community.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Epiq Marketplace has evolved into a central meeting place for the Lennox Head community,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With this expansion, we not only bolster the variety of retail options but also introduce additional service offerings and convenience at the centre.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_123623\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-123623\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-123623\" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/29\/2026\/03\/East_82445.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-123623\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">An artist impression of the project before construction started in May. Photo: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This development directly caters to the pressing need for modern, strategically located business premises that drive local employment, services, and investment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The broader Epiq master plan includes around 450 residences, sporting fields, a childcare centre and a neighbourhood shopping centre.<\/p>\n<p>Anchor tenants including Woolworths, BWS and Chempro are already operating at the site, with the latest stage expected to create additional opportunities for retail and office businesses.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This next stage will further strengthen the retail offering within Epiq, providing more opportunities for local businesses and services to thrive in a high-traffic location that benefits from Lennox Head&#8217;s growing population and tourism appeal,&#8221; Kennedy said.<\/p>\n<p>Stage one of the Epiq Terrace Houses development is underway and is expected to be completed later this year as work begins on stage two.<\/p>\n<p>Construction has also commenced on the relocation of Lennox Head Public School, forming part of the wider growth of the precinct.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A NEW retail precinct has opened at Lennox Head as part of the $250 million Epiq Marketplace development, adding eight new business tenancies to the expanding commercial hub.
