RESIDENTS will have a chance to speak with City of Greater Bendigo’s Cr Aaron Spong about council issues and concerns tomorrow at The Watering Hole.

Cr Spong has held regular Coffee with a Councillor gatherings since he was elected last year.

“This will be the fourth Coffee with a Councillor event I have held in the Heathcote – Redesdale area,” said Cr Spong.

“It is always good to give the community an opportunity to voice concerns on council issues.

“I have held the events once a month over the very large Eppalock Ward to show my constituents that I am out there representing and serving their best interests.

“I want to give them a voice.

“A high priority for me in the 26/27 budget will be the implementation of a tip voucher in some form.

“I will also be ensuring that the Heathcote pool is re-opened safely and on time for the new summer season.

“Even though it has only been eight months, I believe I have accomplished a lot in a short period of time and will continue with much more to come.”

Cr Spong hopes any residents with concerns or feedback about council issues will take the opportunity to meet with him tomorrow.

Cr Spong will be in attendance at 105 High Street, Heathcote from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
