HEATHCOTE Bowling Club will be transported back to the 1920s for a Murder Mystery Afternoon Tea on Sunday 10 November.

The event is being coordinated by the Heathcote Community House and will be developed and presented by local writer Amanda Collins.

“It’s going to be the fun fashion event of the year, with prizes for the most fabulous 1920s outfits,” Ms Collins said.

“We will be converting the Bowls Club into ‘Heathcote Hall’, a grand manor house which harbours many secrets.

“Every participant will have a personalised pack of clues and an opportunity to solve the mysteries.

“There will be multiple mysteries to solve on the day, including, possibly, a fictional murder.

Sylvia Crewe and her father Joe Crewe have been busy making decorations and props to transform the bowls club.

“We have had a lot of fun doing it together,” Ms Crewe said. “It is going to look fantastic.”

Attendees will enjoy a decadent 1920s style high tea as they solve the mysteries.

The cost is $25 a head and bookings can be made by calling 5433 2820 or emailing [email protected].
