HEATHCOTE car enthusiasts were treated to a special show recently when 20 Lotus Marque owners drove into town for Sunday lunch.
While the drivers and guests enjoyed lunch at the Union Hotel, locals stopped to look at the cars lined up outside, asking questions and taking photos.

“The Lotus Club is a Melbourne based club dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of the Lotus Marque,” Union Hotel co-owner Alison Nurthen said.
“Members enjoy activities including weekends away and monthly social events involving driving on ‘Lotus friendly’ or twisty roads.
“We were thrilled to host the club for their Sunday lunch outing, but the biggest thrill was when I was given the chance to take a spin in one of the cars. That was amazing.

“The club members all said they enjoyed the outing and thanked us for the meal and the venue.
“We would love to have them back again.”
