Appeal for witnesses

HEATHCOTE Police are calling for witnesses after a number of reports of vehicles doing burnouts at Redesdale.

Officer in charge at Heathcote Police Station, Sergeant Holly Lembke, said she’s hoping people will be able to provide more information about the behaviour.

“Police have CCTV footage of a vehicle doing burnouts on Monday 12 February,” she said. “The vehicle is a utility with a flat tray.

“There are also reports of un-specified vehicles doing burnouts in Redesdale, leaving tyre marks all over the main road.

“We are appealing for witnesses with any information to contact the Heathcote Police.

“This behaviour will not be tolerated, and we want to make sure everyone is safe on our roads.”
