AT THE Bar Fitness 24/7 celebrated its first birthday last weekend with competitions and prizes, music from DJ Jacko and a birthday cake.

Owner Nicky Walker spent two years planning the venture, which provides Heathcote residents with 24-hour access to fitness equipment and a range of group fitness sessions.

Gym member Michael Carroll said it was hard to believe it has been 12 months since the business moved to the premises at 73-75 High Street, Heathcote.
