COMMUNITY Bank Heathcote and District will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of their opening with a free community event in September.

The opening of the Heathcote branch was followed by the opening of the Nagambie branch in 2017.

“This year marks the 20th anniversary of the opening of Community Bank Heathcote & District,” said marketing and local engagement manager Charleen Warburton.

“To celebrate our 20 years in Heathcote, we are inviting community groups from Heathcote and Nagambie districts to attend a free community event.

“We will host the event on Sunday 21 September at Barrack Reserve, Heathcote.

“We have arranged free amusements for kids, including inflatables, climbing wall and facepainting, and live music.”

Ms Warburton is seeking groups that would be interested in having a stall at the event.

“Stalls could include information about the groups, interactive demonstrations like hitting practice for tennis or craft project for arts group, or fundraising activities,” she said.

“As a bonus, we will have a surprise for groups that set up a stall.

“Please let me know by Friday 29 August if your group will be participating.”

Interested groups can contact Ms Warburton at [email protected]. Food sales require Foodtrader registration at foodtrader.vic.gov.au.
