Outback Thunda will return to the Bendigo Showgrounds for one night only as part of Monster Thrillmasters LIVE!

Clive Featherby, driver of Outback Thunda, said the event will be a full bar monster truck show.

“It’s going to feature four monster trucks and we’ll have the top four in Australia there,” Mr Featherby said.

“It’ll have the world’s youngest monster truck driver there, Cassius Stevenson, driving the Tassie Devil, it’ll also have the local driver there who can do nose wheelies.”

In addition to monster trucks and flame throwing vans, there will be an aqua performance involving an inflatable pool and jetpacks.

“It’s a huge family spectacular, it’s just all the things that kids love you know they go bash, smash, crash and bring it to life in giant size,” Featherby said.

There will also be a contest on the night to see which driver can do the best tricks during battle freestyle.

“I’ll be driving Thunda again, we just had the Australian titles up at Sunshine Coast Stadium and Thunda won again this year and that was against all the top trucks in Australia,” Featherby said.

“There’s some really good drivers nowadays, it’s a fairly tough contest.”

One such driver is Michael Xuereb who will be driving alongside Featherby in Tropical Thunder.

“He can actually take a truck and flip it on its front wheels and balance on the front wheels and drive along on the front wheels only with the back up in the air, it’s really cool,” Featherby said.

Monster Thrillmasters LIVE! is on at the Bendigo Showgrounds on 13 January at 6pm and tickets are available via Eventbrite.
