A SERIES of art classes designed to ignite creativity and passion in the Heathcote community will commence this weekend at Rood Henry’s Art Space.

Building on the town’s rich creative heritage, artist Simon Macaulay is inviting creators and makers of all levels to explore, learn, and grow in a supportive and inspiring environment.

“The RM101 course caters for both beginners and seasoned artists,” said Macaulay. “It will provide a platform for learning, experimentation and mastery.”

Classes and Workshops are $75 each and will cover foundations of drawing, painting techniques, sculpture and digital art.

“RM101 will be more than just art classes,” said Macaulay. “Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate on projects, participate in group critiques, and exhibit their work in a culminating art show.

“This is a chance to be part of something larger; a movement that celebrates the transformative power of art.”

Rood Henry’s Art Space is the creation of Palling Bros Brewery owner Peter Pichut.

“Nestled in the heart of Heathcote beside the brewery, Rood Henry’s Art Space is a beacon for creative minds,” said Macaulay, who currently has an exhibition of his work at the art space.

“Founded on the belief that art is for everyone, it offers a welcoming space for artists to gather, create, and inspire one another.

“With a history of successful exhibitions and community events, Rood Henry’s Art Space is dedicated to enriching the cultural fabric of Heathcote.

“I look forward to locals coming along and being part of Heathcote’s artistic renaissance.

“Whether they are picking up a brush for the first time or refining existing skills, RM101 is the place to start your journey. Let’s create magic together.”

Enrolments are open now for the classes to be held every Saturday from 1pm to 3pm. Spaces are limited to ensure personal attention, so early registration is encouraged.
