Cup Day fun at the RSL

THE annual Heathcote RSL Melbourne Cup Lunch will be held again this year, promising lots of fun and great food.

The event is open to everyone, and you don’t need to follow racing to enjoy the fun.

“It’s always have lots of fun even if you don’t follow the Melbourne Cup,” said RSL member Lyn Hough.

“It’s not a fundraiser, just a fun day for anyone who would like to join in.

“We have a two-course lunch, sweeps and raffles. There will be prizes for Best Dressed and a mystery race caller.

“And, of course, the race will be on the big screen. It’s a good day for everyone.”

The event starts at 11am on Tuesday 4 November.
