THE final ‘Dying to Ask’ 2025 session at Heathcote Community House will be held on Tuesday 9 December.
Participants will talk about festive gatherings and share some ways they might be able to celebrate when everything feels strange and different.
“Dying to Ask is in its fourth year here in Heathcote, and I have noticed that Christmas is a particularly tricky time for many people,” said facilitator Amanda Collins.
“Whether they are supporting someone who is dying or are working out how to come to terms with the loss of someone close, they can find it hard to join in with celebrations.
“We will spend the time together talking about different Christmas traditions, and ask, how might we do this differently?
“It’s a very individual thing, and I find there’s rarely one right answer.
“Finding a way to be that allows for Christmas but also provides space for remembrance can be very important for people.”
Everyone is welcome to bring their thoughts and questions to the session starting at 10.30am at the Community House, 55 Hospital Street, Heathcote.
To book, phone 5433 2820 or email [email protected].
