Free cricket fun for all

HEATHCOTE Cricket Club will host the Heathcote Mitre 10 Community Cricket Family Day on Sunday starting at 3pm.

The team will take on the Heathcote Football Netball Club in a 20/20 match.

“This will be our second family day event,” cricket club president Nick Malavisi said.

“It was very successful last year, and we hope to see a massive crowd down at Barrack Reserve.

“There will be free activities for the kids all afternoon, including face painting, juggling, balloon animals, bubbles and lawn games.

“The Amazing Mister Mike, country Victoria’s number one family magician, will also be there.”

There will also be a barbecue and the bar will be running.

“We are all looking forward to it,” Mr Malavisi said.

“I hope the community will get behind it and make it a great activity for everyone.

“A gold coin donation would be greatly appreciated with the proceeds going towards our local Heathcote SES and Heathcote CFA.”
