THE SES Heathcote Unit Quiztriviganza fundraiser was an outstanding success with one hundred and thirty guests attending.

Money raised from the event will support the fundraising effort for a 4WD Medium Rescue truck.

“What a fantastic, ‘Quiztriviganza’ of a night!” said SES member Deb Williams.

“We are humbled by the support from the community and for the support of our fundraising effort for our 4WD Medium Rescue Truck. We are inching ever closer to our goal.

“My heartfelt thanks go to our Trivia Meisters, Margie Joyce and Neil McKinnon and our house band Amy Larsen and Peter Young forever more known as #Larsen Young.

“The amount of work and planning that went into the night was clearly evident with a fantastic night’s entertainment enjoyed by our 130 guests.

“We filled the Heathcote Golf Club to the rafters.”

Ms Williams thanked the many sponsors who helped make the night a success.

SES member Deb Williams said the sold out Quiztriviganza had the golf club at full capacity.

“We had a long list of amazingly generous sponsors,” she said.

“Devil’s Cave Vineyard, Heathcote Golf Club, Heathcote Film Festival, Heathcote Post Office and Gifts, Heathcote Winegrowers’ Association, LarsenYoung, Leah’s Hair and Beauty, Mandalay Resources, Munari Wines, North of the Yarra Quilters Guild, Pizzeria Montana, Rogues Lane Vineyard, Sanguine Estate Wines, Silver Spoon Estate, The Barn Pet Stock and Feed, The Union Hotel, Three Dams Estate, Trevor Chrisp (local artist and SES member) and Wild Duck Creek Estate.

“The generous sponsorship and donations of wines and raffle prizes made the night so much more special. We couldn’t have done it without their support.

“My thanks must go to my Heathcote SES buddies for their support in bringing this event to fruition.

“And lastly, not by no means least the Community Bank Heathcote & District who will match the total raised, dollar for dollar.”

SES Heathcote Unit is still tallying up the total raised from ticket sales, raffle proceed, wine sales and donation tins and will announce the result soon.
