HEATHCOTE Playgroup resumed this month and will be held once a month throughout the year.
The next session will be held on Wednesday 5 March at 10am to 12pm at Bunbunarik Children’s Hub, 165 High Street.
Naomi Davis has been Heathcote Playgroup coordinator for the past three years.
“We have a wonderful facility incorporating both inside and outside play areas,” Ms Davis said.
“There is a mud kitchen and both inside and outside toys.

“Members of St John’s Anglican Church recently erected a shade sail making the outside area more pleasant on hot days.
“Each session has a theme; this month it was water play and next month it will be autumn leaves.
“Mums, dads, grandparents and carers are all welcome.”
Ms Davis said numbers fluctuate but the playgroup, which started in 2013, usually has about 12 adults with their children attending.

“There have been a lot of firm friendships made through the playgroup,” she said.
“Members often catch up outside of the sessions.”
Ms Davis has created a Facebook page providing details of sessions, themes and special events throughout the year.
There is a $2 donation for each session, with morning tea and fruit provided.
