HEATHCOTE Community House holds beginners Zumba classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

The classes are facilitated by Tania Biagioni and held at the Senior Citizens Hall, High Street, Heathcote.

“Are you ready to get warm, active, and have fun?” asked community house executive officer Vicki Forde.

“Our Zumba beginners classes are the perfect way to kickstart your fitness journey, with no experience necessary.

“We are grateful to Healthy Loddon Campaspe for the initial funding to help us to kick start the program that our community has been asking for, and to the City of Greater Bendigo who have supported the initiative as well.

“The lovely Tania of Capture Your Essence, is just so amazing with her enthusiasm, kindness and care and we are so very fortunate to have her facilitate these classes.”

Zumba combines music and dance moves to create a workout that’s both exciting and effective. You’ll be surprised at how quickly the time flies when you’re having fun!

Health benefits include improved cardiovascular health, increased strength and mobility. Boosted mood and weight management.

Zumba class participants let their hair down each session.

“Our classes welcome individuals of all fitness levels,” said Ms Forde.

“Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refresh your skills, you’ll find a friendly community ready to dance with you.”

Facilitator Tania Biagioni said the classes are going well.

“Everyone has fun,” she said. “They all feel great after every session.

“The classes are a great way to let your hair down to the tune of old favourites.

“Zumba is for the whole body; muscles, strength and mind.”

Sessions are $10 per person with the first two session free.
