MUDBRICK Motley Theatre director Maree Hingston is urging locals to come along and have some fun at the theatre groups latest production, Dirty Deeds at the Diggings.

There will be two performances at the Heathcote RSL Hall. A matinee performance on Sunday 3 August will commence at 2pm.

On Saturday 9 August, the performance will commence at 7.30pm with a pre-show wine tasting from 6.30pm.

Ms Hingston said the cast is well into rehearsals and enjoying every minute.

“In the second half of the show the cast sing together,” she said.

“Many of the olden day songs, such as Moonlight Bay and For Me and My Girl, were originally unfamiliar to some cast members, but the cast has enjoyed learning them and are looking forward to the performances.

“I urge everyone to come along, join in the laughter and singing and have some fun supporting friends and neighbours as they take you back in time to the colonial days of the Heathcote goldfields.”

Entry to both performances is $15 cash at the door. For more information, call Robin on 0401 909 112.
