Howloooo, my name is Big Ned!

Allow me to introduce myself, I’m an adorable three-year-old American staffy mix affectionately known in these parts as Big Ned.

I grew up in these parts and found my way to BARC where the lovely staff have started assisting me with finding a new home and practicing how to be the goodest of boys, although this is still a work in progress and further assistance in my new home will be required.

I’m a fun loving and loyal dog and an extrovert and enjoy the attention of others; be it them laughing at my silly antics, my impression of a dog on a trampoline (no trampoline required) or simply a compassionate ear to sit and listen when they are in need of a friend.

Speaking of friends, I love meeting all the humans, so regular walks and adventures are a must for a dog with a go get them attitude such as mine.

These will also keep me super fit and mentally enriched so are a requirement of any new home considering having me move in.

I enjoy meeting other canine friends also but with a nickname like Big Ned I have a reputation to up hold and demand their respect, but once we’ve made friends we will be paw-tners for life.

I’d like quiet happily home with another dog although I can be selective of roommates and would prefer female companionship or a very quiet male dog who would allow me to be my own dog.

As for the human in my life, the more the merrier, happy to go to a social single, a couple or a family with no so little kids who would be old enough to kick a footy for me, have me drag their skateboards along the footpath, or snuggle on the couch.
