FIFTY Freemasons attended the recent installation of the Heathcote Masonic Lodge Worshipful Master last week.
Tony McMahon will serve for the next twelve months.

“Tony was elected again after serving as Worshipful Master for the previous 12 months,” said Lodge secretary Gus Martonhelyi.
“Worshipful Masters can only serve for two consecutive years.
“Other office bearers were invested at the ceremony.
“It is quite a formal occasion, and we were pleased to have the Grand Master of the Grand Lodge Victoria attending.

“A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of a 50-year jewel to Stuart McMillan. Fifty years of continuous service is a commendable achievement.”
While the ceremony was being conducted, partners and friends enjoyed a sip and colouring session at the Heathcote Golf Club.
“Sandra Kirby led the session,” said Mr Martonhelyi. “Everyone had a great time.
“Following the ceremony, we joined them at the golf club for dinner with about 80 people in total.”
