NEW Foundation students have joined new principal Jen Roberts and vice principal Lea Humphrey in learning the ropes at Holy Rosary Primary School.
Ms Roberts has been appointed acting principal for six months after previously working as co-principal at St Peter’s in North Bendigo.
Ms Humphrey has been promoted after working at the school for three years.
“I have enjoyed my first days at the school; it is an amazing community,” said Ms Roberts. “All the staff are dedicated and very professional.
“I have been welcomed beautifully, and it is wonderful to see that both staff and parents have the best interests of the students at heart.
“I am looking forward to getting to know all the students and their families.”
Ms Humphrey has been at Holy Rosary for three years in different roles.
“It is all new and exciting with new students and staff and a real opportunity for me,” she said.
“The kids are all excited to learn and across the board families and staff have been very supportive.”
The new foundation students have all settled in well at the school.
“They are all excited to be here and feel comfortable, safe and happy,” said Ms Roberts. “That tells you everything.
“It has been a positive start, and they are all looking forward to learning.
“This year we will be implementing the Magnify Sandhurst program of learning throughout the diocese.
