Newlywed wins major prize in MND raffle
WINNING the major prize in Never Give Up Group’s final MND Superchallenge couldn’t have come at a better time for Chris Toifl.
The lucky recipant took home $5000 Total Tools package.
“Chris was rapt,” said Heathcote Bowling Club secretary Peter Cunningham.
“He only recently got married so it was a nice pick up for him.”
Pauline Ezard of Heathcote took home the second prize of Pepperpot Kitchen Aid package,
Third, a Mitre 10 voucher went to Dinah Finn of Heathcote and fourth was an IGA/Easytow Trailer voucher going to Phillip O’Donnell from Melbourne.
Fifth prize was an All Seasons package won by Marge Joyce of Heathcote.
The McIvor Meats Voucher sixth prize went to lucky Max the dog also of Heathcote.
A seventh prize IGA voucher was won by John Margaret Dunn of Heathcote and lucky eighth – also a McIvor Meats voucher – was taken by Ross Laity of Bendigo.
“The Never Give Up Group offers our sincerest thanks to all of our very generous sponsors,” said Mr Cunningham.
“They have played a huge part in making our final Australia Day, and all previous days such a huge success for everyone who will benefit from the money raised.”
