One big happy team

EAMON Gleeson has built a successful career as a grocery assistant at Heathcote IGA, and recently notched up a milestone.

He was recently presented with his 10-year long service pin by store manager David Langtree.

“I started work when I was 16,” Mr Gleeson said.

“I love to walk in the door every week and see all the happy smiles.

“It’s great to meet up with my co-workers and the customers.

“They all make each other happy.

“I work with a great team that sticks together, and we all help each other.

“I just love being able to support my local community.”

Mr Langtree said Mr Gleeson is a breath of fresh air and very popular among his co-workers.

“In the short time I have been here, Eamon is always here on time and always smiling,” he said.

“Eamon genuinely loves what he does, and we love having him work here.

“He was very excited to reach ten years’ service and wears his pin with pride.

“Eamon is a joy to work with.”
