Panthers ready to roar again

AFTER a successful summer season, Heathcote Panthers Basketball are seeking more players for the winter competition.

Training is held on Mondays at Barrack Reserve Stadium and games played in Bendigo at Red Energy Arena.

“We achieved some great results over the summer season,” said team manager Kristyn Campbell, “and we are looking forward to the winter competition.”

“We need players for the Under 10 and Under 18 teams, and Under 16s can play in the Under 18 teams if they would like to.”

Out of five Panthers teams participating in the Bendigo Basketball Association summer season, four made it to the finals.

The Under 12 Boys Purple team were victorious in the grand final.

“Under 10s train at 4-4.40pm, Under 12 at 4.45-5.25, Under 14s at 5.30-6.10 and the Under 16/18s at 6.15-6.55,” said Ms Campbell.
