Leo, six-year-old gorgeous Maremma sheep dog is now looking for a new home with has a big yard or some land for him to walk around on.
A gentle gentleman giant, Leo would be okay in a home with another dog just as chill as he is who will allow him to have his rest when he wants to, which is most of the day really.
Having also lived with chickens and alpacas Leo is perfectly suited to not just a family home but also a rural lifestyle.
But don’t be fooled, Leo is no paddock dog and demands to be an inclusive part of the family with access to his own spot on the couch.
He would love a home that will take him on lots of walks to help him shed a few extra kilos! (it’s that lockdown weight yeah…)
This big boy weighing in at whopping 53 kilograms, but is aware of his size and very gentle.
A Maremma experienced home would be ideal but not necessary as it’s always helpful if someone knows the particular traits of the breed.
Kids six years or older would be ideal new best friends, and they need to be happy to just chill out next to him and also allow him to be the independent dog that he is.
Previously Leo has enjoyed sleeping inside of a night so a home where he can continue to do this would be great. He’s also fully toilet trained.
