Santa Claus is ready to roll!

HEATHCOTE CFA members have been busy getting ready to help Santa on his annual lolly run on a fire truck around the streets of the town.

The run will take place tomorrow night (Saturday 23 December), leaving the Heathcote Fire Station at 7pm.

“It’s always very popular and the run takes the same route every year,” said CFA secretary Laraine Leask,

From the fire station, Santa and his helpers will stop at various corners around town to distribute bags of lollies and wave to children.

The first stop will be on the corner of Kilmore and Victoria Hill roads, followed by Herriot and Ebden streets.

After you’ll find the big guy and CFA volunteers at Ebden and Chauncey, Ebden and Pohlman, Ebden and Mitchell, Mitchell and Playne, Playne and Chauncey, Playne and Herriot, Wright and Chauncey, Wright and Pohlman.

Then it’s on to Wright and Mitchell, Shakespeare and Skully’s Lane, and lastly Skully’s Lane and Wattle Drive before returning to the Heathcote Fire Station.

“And, it’s not just for the kids,” said Ms Leask. “Adults love to get a bag of lollies, too.

“It’s for everyone.”
