School’s back in, almost!

WHILE Heathcote’s kids were still firmly in holiday mode last week, teachers at Heathcote Primary School went back into the classroom to prepare for the year ahead.

Everything is now ready to welcome this year’s batch of eager learners and staff members are looking forward to the start of term.

Art teacher Larissa Skipper said she enjoys meeting new students and getting stuck into some fun, creative art works with them.

While for grade 4/5 teacher Kristy Balic, it’s all about settling into school life with a new class.

Concetta Sergi said her role in the library means she gets to know students through the books they love, and grade 5/6 teacher Rebecca Somerville said watching the growth of new leaders was always rewarding.
