REGIONAL songwriter Glenn Musto will entertain audiences at Three Dams Estate with music, storytelling and heartfelt connection over the King’s Birthday long weekend.

Central Highlands-based Musto has spent more than 30 years writing songs and touring across Australia.

In recent years his life has taken a new turn as he operates an animal sanctuary north-west of Melbourne where he writes and records music surrounded by rescued and native wildlife.

“It changes the way you see the world,” Musto said.

“Living closely with animals and country strips things back.

“It reminds you what matters and what stories are actually worth telling.”

As well as songs spanning decades of songwriting, Musto will share the stories behind the music and reflections on creativity, emotional growth, regional life and human connection.

“There’s a beautiful honesty to regional audiences,” he said.

“People are looking for real experiences. Not perfection, just something human.”

Set in the rustic wine shed, the performances will aim to present a memorable and reflective long weekend experience for locals and visitors.

Glenn Musto will perform at Three Dams Estate, 80 Nicholsons Lane, Heathcote, from 1pm on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June.
