Survey highlights room for improvement
MITCHELL Shire CEO Brett Luxford has responded recent community satisfaction survey results.
Mr Luxford thanked everyone who participated in the 2024 survey.
“Your input is essential in shaping our future actions and priorities,” he said.
“The recent community satisfaction survey results were disappointing but have highlighted some areas where we need to improve, particularly in maintaining our road networks.
“We understand the community’s frustrations, share their concerns and have been undertaking significant work in areas highlighted by the survey.
“It is encouraging to see our efforts in family support services have been well received and I am pleased to see positive results in our customer service scores.”
Mitchell Shire acting mayor Cr Nathan Clark also thanked participants and said the feedback would help to understand how to better serve the community.
“I’m committed to making Mitchell Shire a great place to live, work, and play,” he said.
“The survey pointed out areas that need improvement, especially in local infrastructure and planning due to population growth.
“Our main goal is to enhance the quality of life in the Shire.”
