WITH feed bills of five thousand dollars per month, Danielle Press from Loki’s Lodge is grateful for the support from the Gami Gami Devils who are holding a fundraising event on 14 December.

The group will be joined by Billy Cart Crash for a Country Music Xmas starting at 1pm.

“We continue to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals thanks to wonderful support from the community,” said Ms Press.

“At present we have just over 200 animals on the property, across 15 different species. In the past calendar year, we have been able to rehome 98 animals.

“Feed costs are high, and I am very grateful for the support from the Gami Gami Devils who will this year be joined by Billy Cart Crash.

“Last year we raised more than $1700 through raffles and donations, and we’ve had some generous prize donations again this year.

“It will be another fun event with great music and festivities.”

Ms Press started Loki’s Lodge eight years ago.

“The event will feature cold drinks, hot tacos and sweet tunes,” said Mark Cooper aka Hotrod Gami.

“Peter Pichut from Palling Bros Brewery is a great supporter of the Gami Gami Devils and we really appreciate being able to use the venue.

“We will be playing lots of favourites; prepare for whimsy and the sound of banjos.

“I hope everyone will come down and help support the wonderful work Danielle does at Loki’s Lodge.”
