Winter light show extended
ELECTRIC wonderland has been extended due to popular demand.
The immersive experience will continue at Rosalind Park until Sunday 16 July.
Visitors from far and wide have been flocking to see the winter special which makes use of the latest sound and lighting technologies.
Manager of tourism and events for the City of Greater Bendigo Terry Karamaloudis was pleased the attraction had been a success.
“Electric Wonderland has provided the magic and fun during the winter school holidays so it’s great news that this mesmerising event has been extended,” he said.
“We have had visitors from all over the state travelling to see the show, as well as locals visiting multiple times. The show has been extended so that more people can experience this unforgettable wonderland.”
Features in the light and sound show are a series of illuminated sculptures, which include a large-scale astronaut.
Other popular attractions are the musical steppingstones, interactive flower garden, and for the animal lovers among us, a neon dog.
The journey-like show will be on again this weekend at Rosalind Park.
Sessions run for approximately 45-60 minutes and tickets can be booked by heading to the Electric Wonderland website.
