HEATHCOTE’S Women in Wine have joined forces again to release the fourth edition of their popular 12 Days of Christmas calendar.

The unique advent calendar is the first multi winery, first regional, and first all women wine advent calendar in Australia.

“We are so proud to be part of something special that not only highlights the power of collaboration but also highlights women in our industry as well as our beautiful region,” said Jodi Marsh from Sanguine Estate.

“Just as traditional advent calendars are loved by children, the wine lover’s version features 12 elegant half-bottles of premium Heathcote wines hidden behind 12 secret doors.”

Members of the group have selected a variety of wines from current release and winery cellars, with the calendar including a mix of whites, rosés, Mediterranean varietals, and traditional reds.

Women in Wine was formed in May 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic following a successful virtual wine tasting.

“With our cellar doors closed, it was a powerful way to reconnect with our customers and find some positives in lockdown,” said Ms March.

This year, the wines come from five of the region’s producers: Sanguine Estate, Silver Spoon Estate, Munari Wines, Farmer & The Scientist, and Tar & Roses.

The 12 days of Christmas Wine Calendar is a limited edition, with only 100 available and cost $219 delivered Australia wide, with pre-purchase prior to 1 November for $199.

Visit the Heathcote Women in Wine Facebook page or any of the individual winery websites for purchase information.
