THE first of a series of four practice matches for Heathcote’s netball teams will be played on February 27 at Marong’s Malone Park.

Next hit-out for the Saints will be on their court at Pigeon Park in Heathcote’s Barrack Reserve on March 16 against Riddells Creek.

The Andrew Saladino-coached senior football team will also take on Riddells Creek.

Heathcote’s netball teams will make their way to Mulwala on March 22 which will include a senior footy match.

Last of Heathcote’s netball practice matches will be on March 27 against Kyneton at Pigeon Park.

It’s a change across the coaching front for Heathcote’s netball teams.

The Saints have recruited Chloe Meulenmeesters to be playing coach of A-grade and welcomed four new players to the A-grade squad.

After capturing the Esther Cheatley Medal for a third time as league fairest and best in ’24, Brooke Bolton has stepped down from co-coaching.

Bolton will still be a key figure for the Saints in mid-court.

Pre-season training for Heathcote’s senior netball teams will be on Tuesday in Bendigo and Thursday at Pigeon Park.

First night for juniors will be on Tuesday, February 25 when the under-15s will be on court from 5.45pm until 6.45pm.
