HEATHCOTE marks its return to Midweek Pennant on Monday against the ladder-leading White Hills.

The Saints and Demons will contest the division two match at White Hills from 9.30am.

In round three it was White Hills which scored an emphatic 16-70 to 0-38 victory at Heathcote.

Best for Heathcote in that match was the Dorothy Cutajar-skipped rink which finished within a shot of Robert Jardine.

Saints’ skippers Eileen O’Brien and Lorraine Speirs will be determined to play well after the previous duels with Carmel Jansen and Des Fiedler ended in margins of 24 and seven shots.

On a three and six record, Heathcote is up against a team which has had seven wins, one loss, and a draw.

Weekend pennant resumes on Saturday, 20 January when clubs will take part in a Charity Day to raise funds for various groups in the Cancer network.

Heathcote is at home to play South Bendigo in Division Three while the Saints make their way to Golden Square for the Division Six match.

Mixed social bowls will be played at Heathcote BC this Saturday from 1pm while Tuesday night social bowls starts at 7pm and Pennant practice is on Thursday from 4pm.
