RESIDENTS will have a chance to speak with City of Greater Bendigo’s Cr Aaron Spong about council issues and concerns tomorrow at The Watering Hole.<\/p>\n
Cr Spong has held regular Coffee with a Councillor gatherings since he was elected last year.<\/p>\n
“This will be the fourth Coffee with a Councillor event I have held in the Heathcote \u2013 Redesdale area,” said Cr Spong.<\/p>\n
“It is always good to give the community an opportunity to voice concerns on council issues.<\/p>\n
“I have held the events once a month over the very large Eppalock Ward to show my constituents that I am out there representing and serving their best interests.<\/p>\n
“I want to give them a voice.<\/p>\n
“A high priority for me in the 26\/27 budget will be the implementation of a tip voucher in some form.<\/p>\n
“I will also be ensuring that the Heathcote pool is re-opened safely and on time for the new summer season.<\/p>\n
“Even though it has only been eight months, I believe I have accomplished a lot in a short period of time and will continue with much more to come.”<\/p>\n
Cr Spong hopes any residents with concerns or feedback about council issues will take the opportunity to meet with him tomorrow.<\/p>\n
Cr Spong will be in attendance at 105 High Street, Heathcote from 10.30am to 12.30pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
