{"id":100551,"date":"2025-08-15T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-08-14T18:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mcivortimes\/?p=100551"},"modified":"2025-08-13T17:18:21","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T07:18:21","slug":"and-the-winner-is","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/mcivortimes\/news\/and-the-winner-is\/","title":{"rendered":"And the winner is&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MICHAEL Boughen had an inkling he might be one of the winners at this month&#8217;s 2025 TV Week Logie Awards when he was seated at the front of the audience.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the team from Muster Dogs: Collies and Kelpies, the producer won the Logie for Best Structured Reality Program.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was seated next to Amanda Keller who I have known for many years,&#8221; he said. &#8220;She nudged me and said I must be a winner being so close to the front.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It was a great night and we were thrilled with the win. The award is shared with everyone connected with the show.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It comes as recognition for a lot of hard work by the farmers and the culmination of a great series.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We were up against some great shows; every one of them wonderful programs.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/25\/2025\/08\/Logie3_05272.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Michael Boughen with Muster Dogs presenter Lisa Millar and director Monica O&#8217;Brien.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The other nominees were Farmer Wants A Wife on the Seven Network, Network 10&#8217;s Gogglebox Australia and Shark Tank Australia, Nine&#8217;s Married At First Sight, and The Real Housewives of Sydney on BINGE\/FOXTEL.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Boughen moved to Knowsley just before the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a nice place to live,&#8221; he said. &#8220;We have gotten to know many of the locals and winemakers from Knowsley and Lady&#8217;s Pass.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Now that the services have been extended at Bendigo Airport, it is an easy commute when I need to travel interstate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mr Boughen has begun filming at Tooborac for a special to be screened later this year.<\/p>\n<div class=\"mceTemp\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MICHAEL Boughen had an inkling he might be one of the winners at this month&#8217;s 2025 TV Week Logie Awards when he was seated at the front of the audience.
