BIG dogs, small dogs, tall dogs and short dogs came with their owners to The Barn Pet Stock and Feed to celebrate much-loved resident dog Chrissie’s birthday last weekend.<\/p>\n

Chrissie turned eight years old.<\/p>\n

“It was a great day,” said Chrissie’s owner and The Barn co-owner Sharon Greenfield.<\/p>\n

“The weather was perfect, and everyone said they had a great time.<\/p>\n

“Children played games and entered the colouring competition, and we gave out prizes and gift bags.<\/p>\n

“We sang Happy Birthday to Chrissie and cut two cakes, one for the dogs and one for the humans, both beautifully made by Bernadette Welsford.<\/p>\n

“I am very grateful to everyone who came along and helped to make it such a wonderful day.”<\/p>\n

As well as party celebrations, there were representatives from rural fencing and dog food companies in attendance to give advice and samples.<\/p>\n

The Barn Pet Stock and Feed has been running a raffle with prizes donated by their suppliers in aid of the SES fundraising for a new 4WD medium rescue truck.<\/p>\n
