AFTER fourteen months of fundraising, SES Heathcote Unit has reached the halfway point in their goal of $200,000 for a new 4WD Medium Rescue Truck.<\/p>\n
Members have expressed their gratitude for the support they have received from the community and, especially, Community Bank Heathcote and District.<\/p>\n
“We are thrilled to share the incredible outcomes of the past 14 months of fundraising for our 4WD Medium Rescue Truck,” volunteer Deb Williams said.<\/p>\n
“Thanks to the generosity, spirit and commitment of our wonderful Heathcote community, and beyond, we’ve reached the halfway mark towards our ambitious goal.<\/p>\n
“Every donation, every share, every 10-cent can, raffle prize, plant, bottle of wine, collection tin, cake, quarter of chicken, pizza, fish and\/or chip, and every word of encouragement has made a difference.<\/p>\n
“Together, we’ve shown what can be achieved when people unite for a cause that contributes to and protects our community.<\/p>\n
“The support doesn’t just raise funds; it builds resilience, fosters connection, and ensures we can continue helping in times of need.<\/p>\n
“From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.<\/p>\n
“Let’s keep this momentum going and continue making a positive impact, side by side.”<\/p>\n
Marketing and local engagement manager at Community Bank Heathcote and District, Charleen Warburton, said she was pleased the fundraising efforts have reached the halfway mark.<\/p>\n
“Fundraising will continue in 2026 with Community Bank Heathcote and District continuing to match donations,” she said.<\/p>\n
“Our wonderful community got behind this cause again over Christmas with businesses pledging a portion of their December, and some January, profits.<\/p>\n
“Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.<\/p>\n
