All proceeds raised from the event will go towards the Heathcote Native Gardens Project.<\/p>\n
Australian Plants Society Heathcote is a non-profit, incorporated community organisation.<\/p>\n
It is dedicated to growing Australian native plants, conserving native plants, and promoting and disseminating general knowledge of Australian plants.<\/p>\n
“Meetings are friendly and informal,” Ms Biagioni said.<\/p>\n
“We all enjoy promoting the growing of Australian native plants.<\/p>\n
“Whether your garden is big or small, we want people to know you don’t have to be a slave to your garden.<\/p>\n
“There are lots of smart ways to enhance the local conditions; we can all learn from each other.”<\/p>\n
The group meets on the second Tuesday each month at 7pm, at the Senior Citizens’ Hall at 121 High Street in Heathcote.<\/p>\n
Meetings include guest speakers and light refreshments.<\/p>\n
