The Saints and Kookaburras will fight to be first to the division two grand final when they contest the second semi-final at Golden Square from 1.30pm.<\/p>\n
A 34-shot victory at South Bendigo in last Saturday’s play put Heathcote back on top of the ladder.<\/p>\n
The Saints marked a 107-73 victory against the Diggers.<\/p>\n

The Saints had to beat the third-placed Magpies to be a chance of playing finals.<\/p>\n
A great match ended in a 61-56 win for East.<\/p>\n

Heathcote missed the finals by just two points.<\/p>\n
It was a great effort by Heathcote’s team to finish in fifth place.<\/p>\n
A field of 18 braved hot and humid conditions on 4 February to play three games of pairs and triples.<\/p>\n
Winners were Peter Cunningham (s) and Chris Lawrence, a visitor from Manly, on three wins, 43 points, +17 shots.<\/p>\n
Runners-up were Dan Fitton (s) and Darrel Hammond, visitor from Manly, on two wins, 33 points, +10 shots.<\/p>\n
The jackpot was won by Rod Hanson, Greg Speirs and John Hepburn.<\/p>\n
The fifth and final round of the popular Tuesday Night Bowls was played this week.<\/p>\n
Finals for A and B divisions will be played next Tuesday from 7pm.<\/p>\n
